The shelter of Carança

Located at an altitude of 1840 meters in the regional natural park of the Catalan Pyrenees, the refuge is a former pastoral shelter fitted out by members of the association "les chemins de Pyrène". This rustic refuge consists of a common room and a collective dormitory upstairs. Outside, the picnic tables, the barbecue area and the river provide a friendly setting after a hike of several hours. They say that coming to La Carança is like going back to "the old way": taking your time, without network, without internet, bathing in the river!
